Ignite Fire Engineering (IFE) is a Wellington-based consultancy delivering fire safety engineering and accessibility design outcomes for clients across a broad range of building types and geographic locations in New Zealand, since 2009. We specialise in providing compliance gap assessments, fire compliance strategies, fire engineering design and fire safety outcomes for existing and new buildings. We also provide accessibility compliance gap assessments and reports.
IFE is a small team, comprising a Principal Fire Engineer – Glyn Struthers, and a part-time office assistant. Our small team means you will have a single point of contact who is familiar with all aspects of your project fire design. The Principal Fire Engineer's availability and familiarity with your fire design translates into timely delivery of design outcomes, prompt responses to, and support for design team requests for information and contractor site queries. This is a service that has been very much valued by previous IFE clients.
